Day 1 • Introduction to the course. • Treatment planning & diagnosis of advanced cases - Diagnostic: CBCT, OPG, PA, models, photos • Frequent complex situations encountered in daily implantology practice • Indications/Contraindications/Techniques
Day 2
• CBCT planning techniques for full arch cases (lecture and workshop)
• Implant site enhancement (hard tissue)
o How to apply the GBR technique in difficult cases -
When only extraction without GBR and implantation?
- When extraction with socket preservation?
- When extraction with implantation only?
- When extraction with GBR and implantation? - when extraction with GBR, implantation and SCTG?
- Osseo densification .. how and when to use?
- How to maintain the tightness of the socket in each of the above cases?
o What to do in case of dehiscence, fistulae, cysts before implantation?
o How to deal with sinus approximating cases
o Management of implant complication: Recession in esthetic zone, osseous defect associated with immediately placed implant, bone loss, ttt of malposition implant in esthetic zone. - Discussion: bring your own cases, if you want to plan their treatment
